Plan of Salvation Puzzle
Through our faith in Jesus Christ, the Holy Ghost will bless us with a Testimony of Heavenly Father’s plan of salvation.
Begin by giving the student the empty plate (the base plate without the puzzle pieces). As you teach each part of the plan, give that puzzle piece to the student and have them place it into the base plate. This tactile reinforcement will enhance the student’s understanding of the Plan of Salvation.
Testimony Triangle Puzzle
Through our faith in Jesus Christ, the Holy Ghost will bless us with a testimony of the principle we are seeking.
The Book of Mormon contains Moroni’s promise (Moroni 10:3-5). After reading and praying you will receive a testimony of the Book of Mormon. This can be likened to a one-legged stool. The stool is very useful as long as there is external support. This can be provided by family, friends, missionaries, Quorum Leaders, Auxilliary Leaders and Bishops.
In order to strengthen a testimony the person must gain a testimony of the Prophet Joseph Smith. This can be likened to a two legged stool which is more stable but still requires external support.
The next part of strengthening a testimony is seeking and receiving a testimony of Jesus Christ’s Church, which is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This can be likened to a three legged stool. A three legged stool can stand on its own without external support.
